• Google data: When you connect Google, we access Drive and Photos files only during your session to import media. This data is not stored on our servers.
• Saved posts: Posts you choose to save, stored locally in your browser.
• Usage data: How you interact with the Service, including features used and actions taken.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the GENER8 Service
• Generate AI-powered content based on your briefs
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send important service updates and notifications

3. Third-Party Services

GENER8 integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI content generation. Your briefs are sent to Anthropic's API to generate posts. Privacy Policy →
• Meta (Instagram/Facebook) — When connected, we access your posts and profile via the Instagram Graph API. Privacy Policy →

4. Social Media Data

When you connect a social media account, we store an access token in a secure, HttpOnly cookie to fetch your posts and profile data. We do not publish content on your behalf without your explicit action. You can disconnect any platform at any time from the Settings page, which immediately removes the stored token.

5. Data Storage and Security

Saved posts and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to our servers. Access tokens for social platforms are stored in encrypted, HttpOnly cookies. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
